Are you ready to get your confidence back and take control?

self defence technique

Are you tired of feeling like you have to constantly look over your shoulder every time you’re out on your own?

What would happen if one day you looked over your shoulder and this time there is someone there…

Would you know what to do?

Imagine you are walking out of the office one night and heading to the car park, just like you do any other night. It’s cold, dark and quiet and you are all alone… or at least that’s what you think.

As you head to the empty car park you notice a dark figure following you, tracing your every footstep, picking up pace.

There is no one else around and you are on your own and your car is in sight, but your keys are buried in your bag and you can’t find them.

You begin to panic, your heart races and starts to pound through your chest, so hard that it feels like it’s trying to jump out of your throat. Your stomach starts to churn, your breathing shallows and your pulse races and all you can see is what’s directly in front of you. All you can hear are the footsteps drawing closer and closer, getting faster…

You try to find your phone to call for help, but in your panic stricken state you don’t know who to call and you can’t even remember how to dial a phone number, just to make things worse your hands shake so violently you can hit the keys straight…

So, what do you do now?

If you found yourself in such a situation, would you be prepared to have to fight off a potentially violent and dangerous attacker? Would you know how to get yourself out of there quickly without getting hurt or worse?
Would you have the skills, the courage and the confidence to survive?

It’s the worst possible scenario and it could happen to anyone- it has happened and the truth is it could be so easily avoided…

Welcome to Street Safe!

‘Street Safe’ is more than just a ‘Self Defence’ system, in fact it’s unlike any other Personal Safety system out there because our focus isn’t just on how to defend yourself from violence (although it is a vital part of what we do), it’s also about not being in a potentially violent situation in the first place.

How many times have you gone out to your car without getting your keys out of your bag first?
When was the last time you checked that your mobile phone was fully charged and topped up before you went out?

How many times have you taken cash out of a machine and walked off before you have put your money and card away, not bothered checking for receipts, statements or even checked that there’s no one looking over your shoulder?

How many times have you fallen asleep on a train?

Have you ever left your drink attended at a night club or pub?

How often do you walk around with your earphones in both ears and zone out?

Have you ever woken up one morning with a hangover so bad that you can’t actually remember what happened the night before?

Is any of this relevant to you?

If we are being honest we have all done it and many of us probably do these things as well as many other ‘trivial’ things without realising that we could potentially putting ourselves in harm’s way and making ourselves a potential target.

That’s why we are here!

Our job is not only to provide you with the skills and knowledge to deal with a potential attacker and real violence, to teach you how to cope with fear and panic, or even what to do if threatened with a knife- It’s our job to primarily teach you how to keep yourself safe! Our primary mission is to teach you to be proactive and take measures to protect yourself.

Do you really know how to keep yourself safe?

Our key aim is to promote awareness and keep people from unwittingly putting themselves in to dangerous situations. You can start learning how to keep away from danger by downloading your free ‘Staying safe on the streets’ report (at the top of the page) and joining the mailing list, where we will send you useful tips to help you avoid becoming a target. You can also download and subscribe to the ‘Street Safe Podcast’.

But what if the worst does happen and you are attacked?

It happens, no matter how careful and aware you are you could still find yourself on the receiving end a potentially violent and dangerous attack where you have no choice but to take action. This is where the other side of ‘Street Safe’ comes in to play- the reactive Self Defence side.

Our thorough, but easy to learn and apply syllabus is designed to teach someone who has no fighting experience, who may not be particularly big, fit or strong how to stop a violent attacker and get out of there as quickly as possible.

Our techniques and drills have been specifically developed and pressure tested so that they can be applied in a dangerous situation by anyone, without the need to think or remember- you just act.

What if I’m at a physical disadvantage?

We have worked with men, women and children of all shapes, sizes, fitness levels and ages and learned a thing or two across the way. We have specifically designed our syllabus so that anyone can apply fast and extremely effective techniques on anyone- it doesn’t matter what ‘disadvantages’ you think you may have.

To learn more about this, you can read up on our S.T.R.I.K.E principles, which explains how we developed the ‘Street Safe’ system.
